About Aalborg

Aalborg is the capital of the Northern Jutland and has more than 140.000 inhabitants. The city is around 1000 years old and is home to Aalborg University (~20.000 students), which was founded in 1974. It is easy to reach Aalborg by both train, car, and airplane (direct connections to Aalborg Airport from, e.g., Schiphol and Copenhagen). Aalborg is a safe and well-organized city with a beautiful harbor front that has been renovated over the past decade. In the city centre, there is a wide range of restaurants and bars.
